ClearRecord Pro – Noise free voice recorder App Reviews

This is the best recording app I have used so far. As a music major, I use it a lot and I love the quality. Just one thing though, I would like to have the option to delete categories or at least rename them. Ive made categories for specific classes that I dont take anymore and think it would be nice to have the option to rename it for whatever class Im currently taking. Other than that, this app have everything I need.

Unfortunately this app no longer works on my iphone 4S ios 9.3.5. No response from the developer to two emails and bug reports over two weeks. It is still the best noise cancelling recorder by far on my ipad but the phone is where I need it. Paid for the premium version.

I used to use ClearRecord all the time to record rehearsals. However, since the latest release, it closes as soon as l hit the record button! No use to me now!

It is unacceptable to only support m4a as the only compressed format. It doesnt play in windows and causes frustration.

BEWARE DELETES FILES If call come in file get delete Randomly files wont be able to save On top of that 8 lecture are now "unplayable" DONT BUY THIS APP IF YOU RECORD ANYTHING THAT MATTERS

Love this app, been using it for 2 years now in college. I like the play speed option so I can speed up long lectures.

Hey! This is a great app! It excels at cutting out background noise while Im recording. You dont hear anything but your voice. Its easy to use, one can email or Dropbox recordings as well as transfer them to computer. I also like that I can name each separate recording when its finished. 4 stars instead of 5 because there isnt a lock feature for this app. Anyone in your phone can listen to your recordings. I use mine as a voice journal, so I really hope the developers add that feature. My 2nd reason for 4 stars is that I have sent recordings to people, who were unable to listen to them on their computer. They said that the file was too big/ or that the recording was too long, so their system wouldnt open it. There may be a fix for this prob; I just dont know it. Please let me know ( developers) if there is :). Ive already recommended this app to friends who love it. With two tweaks, it would be perfect!

Awesome noise canceling but almost useless when every time I try to play it back the program crashes and looses my spot in the recording. There is also no controls on playback other than a slider. Very difficult to get to my exact spot after the crash (about 30 times in a 3 hour recording)

This app would have been perfect except of few issues: 1. After the upgrade, it crashes a lot and it wont allow you to edit and/or change topics. 2. Needs a playback mode. That is, it needs to be able to jump back 10 - 15 seconds back. 3. Needs to keep recording even when a calls comes in. Or have the ability to continue recording right after where u left off from previous recordings.

The rename feature used to function correctly but now, after last iOS update to 7.0 is now broken and will not allow to rename. This feature is essential for me meetings and now is a mess. Please fix this issue.

Perfect app! Records lossless for music and doesnt clip when it gets loud, ever. Also works perfect for recording your professor in big classrooms. Best. Get it! Best $1 Ive spent.

I use this app to record interviews as well as lectures at conferences. It is very easy to use and the quality is outstanding. I use the Edutige EIM-001 imicrophone and it does a phenomenal job. You can choose the quality of the recording which allows you to record a lot of information without taking up much space. A couple of times I had to contact tech-support with some questions, and they got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. I especially like the dropbox feature where I can send my lectures and interviews to dropbox without having to worry about losing my valuable info. Whether you are a student recording a class or professional that needs to document info, you will not be disappointed with this software.

I love using this app to record and playback college lectures. The Dropbox upload feature is an excellent addition. The only thing I wish is the developers would improve the playback controls. I often record 2hr lectures. The app needs to remember where you are in a recording if you leave the app. I would also like to see a button to jump forward or back 10 seconds. A screen with larger playback controls would make the app much more functional.

It was worth it to buy this. I can listen to my recordings on repeat while running other tasks on my phone. Ive been looking for this. Adjusting the speed without changing the voice is pretty impressive too. I can speed up recordings that seem to drag on. Its pretty helpful and was pretty simple to figure out. The only thing I wish they would add is a playlist so I could play multiple things on repeat instead of just one file.

helpful in my big college classes when I sit in the back and cant stay awake. please make a 2x speed! I would super appreciate it!

Doesnt work as well if there is too much noise

When I got a phone call, recording of this time has been vanished always.

Worth your money, works great.

I searched for this kind of repeat feature, and this is the only app what know this.
